Do you want to improve your longboarding skills before Summer and gain some new friends in the lineup? Would you like to learn how to stay in perfect trim, how to cross step, how to cut back or noseride? If any of those are a yes, then this club is perfect for you.
The Dawnie Club is based in Mount Maunganui for surfers who love a dawnie, enjoy longboarding waves and want to build their confidence in the surf. We meet at sunrise to share waves, support each other and focus on skill progression in a welcoming environment.
Over the 6 week series, you’ll pick up a bunch of awesome longboarding techniques that are perfect for all skill levels. Whether you are just starting out or looking to refine your style, this club has something for you!
How the club runs
There will be a group chat set up dedicated to our Dawnie Club. Each week we will pick the best forecast for waves and head out for a surf at dawn until around 8am, with a bit of theory first. We run the club on weekdays, with the occasional session on a weekend.
We will have a new longboard focus each week. For example, week one maybe mastering the cross step & week two maybe working on cutbacks.
After each session you will be sent a link to download your footage. This will either be high quality drone footage, in water footage or in water photographs.
Sessions will run over six weeks, starting beginning of November through mid December.
There may be some weeks where we have two sessions in one week due to swell conditions.

$220 ($55 per session) paid in full upon booking
