Kia ora, I’m Andrea, a surf photographer based in Mount Maunganui.

I have been photographing surfers for the past three years in Aotearoa and abroad. I am a qualified surf instructor, I host a longboarding club in Mount Maunganui, organise surf meet-ups + lessons on the east and west coasts, and photograph retreats locally and internationally. I offer private surf shoots, capturing authentic imagery that celebrates you in the water.

My work has been featured with Surfline, Pacific Longboarder Magazine, and Betty Zine Magazine. I have worked with brands such as Climax Surf Wax, Surf Shell, Gemma Lee wetsuits, Gypsea Co, Lady Waves and Solsea Swim. I’ve photographed over 1,500 surfers in the water – from the Bay of Plenty, Coromandel, and Raglan, plus multiple surf retreats both here in New Zealand and abroad.
